Your gynaecologist has made a diagnosis necessitating surgery, which can be treated within the scope of our surgical services.
In all cases, it is necessary that you present yourself in our consultation hour prior to the planned surgery so we can get a detailed idea of your problems and prepare an individual treatment plan after thorough counselling and information for which we take as much time as necessary. Further planning and making appointments is handled by our practice, and you can contact them with your concerns and questions at any time.
As a rule, general anaesthesia preparation is made within the scope of pre-medication presentation with our anaesthesia team in their practices in the city centre or in Bogenhausen, but in individual cases it can also be provided by your general practitioner.
If an outpatient procedure is planned for you, please ensure that you can be reliably picked up on the day of the surgery and are cared for by an adult for the rest of the day. If necessary, we are happy to arrange a transport back to your home, of course.
You will receive a written summary of all pre- and post-surgical instructions in your information folder. Of course you will receive surgery reports and histological findings for your personal use. In emergencies and if you have urgent queries, your surgeon will be available to you at any time by direct mobile phone access. The obligatory check-up approx. 1 week after the procedure is done by your gynaecologist, as a rule.
But maybe you just need a second opinion for a special problem or present yourself in one of our specialist office hours. In these cases, we also offer competent and non-binding counselling.
